Recommended Reading

These two blog posts are written by a very articulate young man who has a high regard for Scripture and desires to make application to all areas of life.  Because of the subject matter, but especially because of the specific person mentioned within them, these two posts are controversial.  If you read them with an open mind and heart, though, they will provide you with much food for thought, and, if you're anything like me, fuel for many hallelujahs!

Enjoy!

  1. Perry, I don't think you happen to know that Sarah Palin is a FAVORITE of mine.

Now, I am not to keen on her being a women and running for high political office. But, I have read her book, seen her in person, and do agree with her politically. I will have to check these out in more detail....

  2. Hi Lisa!
It seems we both have a high regard for her and her political viewpoints. Because I know many people are very pro-Palin I put that sort of "disclaimer" on my post. It is not my intention to cause conflict or question other people's/families' opinions on things. It is just that I agree with those two posts, and thought they were an excellent articulation of what I believe regarding any women running for public office, as well as giving encouragement and good basics about biblical womanhood in general. And in my life, no matter how high a regard I have for something or someone, I long to have a higher regard for Scripture. This is something I have been wrestling with in another area lately, and boy-- is it hard! :]
So, I encourage you to read those two posts! And if you ever feel like discussing it further, we can do that. :)
    Love ya, miss ya!
    Perry
